The Complete Guide For Attempting to Get a Vaccine (for MoCo Residents)

Updated: Mar 2, 2021

This information is up to date as of Tuesday 3/2.

Please be aware, people under 65 with pre-existing conditions are not eligible to be vaccinated in the state of Maryland yet UNLESS they are receiving treatment at a hospital (including outpatient treatment) or also happen to fall into another category (healthcare worker, teacher, etc.)

*One very important item to note: The priority groups (1A, 1B, 1C, etc) for MoCo and the priority groups for the state of Maryland are not the same. One key difference is most people under 65 with pre-existing conditions are considered 1C in MoCo, but are considered priority group 2 in the state of Maryland. See MoCo's priority groupings here: https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/covid19/vaccine/#priority-groups

See the state of Maryland's priority groupings here: https://covidlink.maryland.gov/content/vaccine/
